Just wondering where the last month went (it's not holiday season here)! What's been happening:
- a series of colds (comes with the season)
- endless rainstorms (normally at their worst on Saturdays also comes with season, though more than average)
- 2 batches of marmalade made (yum!- one Grapefruit from our garden, the second Orange and lemon- hope to make more of the former)
- at least two new words a day from L (today- fridge and erm can't nail a second for today!)
- C has had 2 Speech therapy sessions (another 3 to go), making slow progress relearning sounds word by word, but hey at least there is progress
- regular visits to where the motorway is being built!
- continue to enjoy the luxury of 2 cars (one borrowed), Tim still cycles to work 2or 3 days each week- I can't say the same of me and walking to Kindy (oops there goes the exercise regime!).
- Ah yes and sporadic wallpaper stripping in the kitchen...
Very excited that today is the first day of spring. The sun is notably warmer when we see it- actually managed lunch outside today (ok so if we weren't sitting on the picnic blanket it blew away, but it was warm enough as long as the sun stayed out!). Looking forward to planting some more veg (though not so much the weeding that'll need to be done first, or the slug massacre that'll be necessary for anything to grow!). Also looking forward to Tim's parents arriving in a couple of weeks (even managed to get a bed yesterday- a whole 18days before they arrive (sorry, long story in the saga of Brown furniture decision making!)).
Sorry for lack of photos, Camera is dying on us and currently run out of battery too which of course doesn't help!
