Bits and pieces

Our church has been described as 'a symphony orchestra' on national TV this weekend- 3 minutes of fame on TV2's 20/20- you can watch it on demand on their website (http://www.tvnz.co.nz/)- (sadly only if you are in NZ- sorry) our friend Amanda was cold called at her house and ended up telling the story of how she'd moved to NZ to help plant the church- a second clip shows us lot (Grace Church) apparently sounding like a symphony orchestra!!

We fitted 13 men in our kitchen for breakfast on Saturday- I wisely vacated with the children. We did need to borrow a few chairs but it was good to use our many (many) plates!! The ocasion was a visit by Pete Brooks (leads a church in Sydney) who's spent the past few days encouraging us with stories of faith and reminding us that God is building His church!

The delightful children continue to grow up- C got new shoes this week (after sandals or bare feet for months) and is putting on socks and shoes all by himself -Yay! L got dressed in a dress today (very rare event- the occasion- me being so behind with the washing she'd run out of socks!).
